Upcycled from becoming waste, we rescue an estimated 50g of coffee fruit in every snack which is a natural byproduct from the coffee farming process. The coffee fruit contains incredible amounts of antioxidants, gentle natural caffeine & is considered a nootropic that aids in mood, brain function and focus.
Coffee fruit refers to the red coffee cherry that encompasses the bean (seed) and is often discarded during the coffee bean harvesting process.
Sourced directly from Colombia, we work with four small farmers producing high quality coffee. Our direct relationship means no middle man is involved- meaning more impact direct to farm! Our coffee fruit is 100% sustainably sourced and Rainforest Alliance Certified!
Our bar range, hot chocolate and coffee are all GF! Our clusters are not as they contain oats.

Coffee fruit does NOT taste like coffee and instead resembles a berry-like flavour. When mixed in our bars, it provides the perfect binder and tastes delicious. However, our Espresso bar has added specialty coffee beans which will give it that yummy coffee taste.
When utilising the husk and the fruit, coffee fruit is packed with optimal antioxidants such as Chlorogenic Acid - Helps improve cell metabolism. Caffeic Acid - anti-inflammatory properties. Catechin - reduces oxidative stress and helps prevent cell damage. Polyphenols - Natural prebiotic for gut and brain health.

Upcycled foods is a solution to the amounting food waste and food security problem. Simply meaning: "the use of ingredients that otherwise would be discarded. They are procured and produced using verifiable supply chains and have a positive impact on the environment."
Through upcycling the coffee fruit into our bar, every Coffee Fruit Bar sold is a direct reduction of waste loading on the plant. Roughly 20 Billion kilos of coffee fruit is wasted per year, releasing toxic gases into the environment.
Adopting Contribution through Consumption, every bar you consume is diverting 70g of coffee fruit waste that otherwise may have been polluting natural river systems!
