Thales Henriquess is a Brasil-born, Australia-based age-group triathlete, with standout 2025 results including 1st at IRONMAN 70.3 Cairns, 1st at St Kilda 70.3, and 3rd at Western Sydney 70.3.

Daisy Mumby is a beach volleyball athlete who’s been part of the I Am Grounded family since 2024. She is embarking on her new journey of starting a family in 2026.

Brett Hallam is a South African-born, Sydney-based endurance athlete, coach, and founder of Havoc Training. A top Australian age grouper (2nd overall at IM Busselton 2024), he’s not just chasing results, he’s building a community that trains with heart and purpose.

Guilherme “Gilly” Garcia is a Brasilian-born, Aussie-by-heart triathlete and co-founder of FTA Triathlon Club. A former competitive swimmer, he’s all about variety, big goals, and chasing steady gains across swim, bike and run. 2025 highlight: Competing 70.3 World Champs Marbella, Spain.
Nico Barbalan
Triathlete | Cyber Security Expert
Nico “Loco” Barbalan is a Buenos Aires–born, Sydney-based triathlete from the FTA Triathlon Club crew. Known for speed and mental grit, his 2025 highlights include Age Group gold at the ACT Capital Duathlon Championships and a strong IM Western Australia finish (9:38).
Coach Diogo Cordeiro
Swimming/Tri Coach & Triathlete
Diogo is a triathlon coach and endurance athlete who leads with discipline and heart. In 2025 he cracked sub-33 in the Sydney 10K (32:58) and placed 6th in his Age Group Sprint Wollongong Triathlon World Champs Finals in 2025.
Rebecca Barras
Vet Nurse & Runner
Rebecca Barrass is a UK-born, Sydney-based runner and vet nurse who balances early-morning training with saving animals’ lives. Her 2025 highlights include 49:48 at the Harbour 10K and a gutsy Sydney Half Marathon finish in 1:55:44 after returning from injury.

Lachlan “Locky” Powell is the co-founder of I Am Grounded and a Queensland-based endurance athlete on a mission to build a big life, in sport and in business. In 2025, he’s taken triathlon seriously, completing his first full-distance finish with purpose at the centre of it all.

Elite AG Triathlete | Project Engineer
Oli Wright is a Western Australia–based multisport weapon and project engineer, originally from the south-west of England. A consistent top-performing age grouper, he’s the overall age group winner at IRONMAN 70.3 Western Australia and XTERRA Asia Pacific Champion, stepping up toward elite racing in 2026.
